Singapore Flyer 5km Run

With over 50 different types of running events in Singapore, it has become a trend to see more and more people, especially the younger generation, embarking on a healthy journey to improve their physical and cardio abilities. What can be more fun, when the run is taking place at one of the most iconic landmark of Singapore – Singapore Flyer.

This 5km run will start and ends at the Singapore Flyer. The circuit will take runners via Marina Barrage and back to the Singapore flyer. The main objective of the Singapore Flyer Run is to instil, and encourage running to all. We cannot emphasise more, the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. Running to keeps our mind sharp, and body fit.

The date was intentionally pegged just to welcome the arrival of the school holidays, and to gel the event with a full load of fun that you can expect in the Singapore Flyer Sports Fiesta.

This competition has ONE 'Open' category.  
Age criteria from 7 years old and above.  

 

Fees and Registrations

All registration must be online. 

Those students and do not have online payment need to,
    register online (choose the second option) and pay thru your school representatives if any.
    Students will enjoy a rate of S$30 per participant.
    Alternatively, facilities have been catered for students only, to pay at;
    Paper Crafts Garden, 3 Temasek Boulevard, #03-026K, Suntec City Mall, Singapore 038983.

Each registration comes with a goodie bag to include a running top and sponsored items.

Please bring along relevant membership cards during the collection of goodie bag.

Actual running routes will be sent via email after registration closes.       

 

Prizes

Champion will walk away with S$1000 cash.

1st Runner-up will walk away with S$750 cash.

2nd Runner-up will walk away with S$500 cash.

All runner will be given medals.

Official prize presentation will be at the Singapore Flyer on April 14th, 2012.
